About Me
I am Hannah and I have loved art for as long as I can remember.
Painting, drawing, jewellery making, DIY, I’ve done it all.
Art was my favourite subject in school and I got into a few universities to further my career in it… but somehow ended up in pharmacy.
Don’t get me wrong, I love that too. All the learning new things and helping people every day, but working ridiculous hours and trying to achieve the impossible got completely in the way of my art.
After years of community pharmacy and getting financially stable, I reduced my hours to make time for what I love most; play with ferrets and make art 
How HanniePig came about
As I was always the ‘arty farty’ one of the household, dad always tasked me to make place-cards for the table and make Christmas and birthday cards for the family; not because I was necessarily any good at it (I’ve made some crap things in my time!) But because he knew I loved it, and was always so proud of what I made.
Then websites launched selling personalised cards, as much of an amazing idea this was, not everyone could afford them (especially not us at the time), and so HanniePig was born!
Every time dad needed a card for someone, it was “I need HanniePig!”
In recent years, the response was always “I’m too tired” or “I don’t have time”
But now… HanniePig is back!
And this time… With ferrets!
